I don't know why I didn't post this years ago, but this is actually from Summer 2010 I believe. I took a pre-college class during the summer at Suffolk University and this was one of the prints I made. I know it's kind of all over the place and there's a zillion layers, but I love it.
This was a 4 color lithograph. The black was the initial layer, then the maroon flowers, and then the script in both red and white.

I like this. It is very charming and yes, the overlays may be staggered, but that is what breaks up the monotony of just putting everything in order, so it is all in one place...
The way you did it, you get to see a bit of the layers, that are over the black, whereas, if you hadn't staggered them, they would only be really noticed on the face.
Before I saw your comment about the woman being done by someone else. I had thought she were your grandmother, because the picture looks like it was created out of love.
