It was actually a pretty difficult decision for to get it signed because I spent so many hours on it and I didn't know if having all these signatures was going to detract from it. Needless to say, I adore it, probably more now than I did before.
When I finished this back in January, I felt accomplished, but it has literally been chilling in my portfolio folder ever since. Having it signed, and especially having Dahvie not only sign it but write "I believe in you", makes me want to look at it every freaking day.
I ended up getting it signed by Dahvie Vanity, Jayy von Monroe, Brian Carpenter, Ryan O'Mulroy, and Auzzie Michael Sadleir. Made my life
I ENVIES YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i want to meet them so badly!!!!! i love these boys, and your work is fucking killer!!!!!!! you do pointalisim??? its incrediable!!! so lifelike too. fantastic work!!!
Oh man, I was so pumped to meet them in real life. But I probably came off as a total ditz because as soon as i saw them, I think my heart stopped. It was out of this world! And thanks : ) This one is also just stippling : )
I only got my drawing of Haley Rose and Ash Costello signed by said females on FTU.....A pic with Haley and Aussie, two hugs from both Dahvie and Jayy, and (this is a bonus) personal one-on-one attention from Jayy!
Aw man! They were definitely so much fun to talk to. I know everyone said that BOTDF was such a fan band, but I didn't realize how much until I talked with them. Dahvie chatted with me for a couple of minutes and Jayy was just so chill with everything. Love these boys : )
I wish I could've chatted with them more! I only had time to say one thing to Dahvie as he was going in to get on stage! But Jayy loved the bracelet I made him and reached over people to hug me
I know :/ Plus I felt like a total ditz when I started talking to Dahvie. He means so much to me and I almost starting tearing up when I saw him just because it was so emotional and couldn't find the right words to tell him how amazing he is. Oh well.... I guess there's next time?
